Our First Long Road Trip

Our Pawwrents took us to Amarillo on a 3-plus hrs car trip to visit Grandma in October. This was out first time being on the road for that long other than making trips to the Vet.

We were very scared at first because the vehicle kept moving and we didn’t know what to make of it, since we were not used to being in a vehicle for this long. Mommy kept turning around to check on us and she caught us snuggling with each other for comfort.
I was so nervous so I stayed closer to our Pawwrents. Socks handled it better than me and he seemed so calm..
Mommy, I think Socks 💩 in the litter box. I can smell 👃 it 😵‍💫. Houston, there’s 💩 💩 in the litter box!
Oops, I didn’t meant to make some kitty 💩 🙊 I love you 💕 ♥️😻😽
We need to pull over some where and clean the litter box please 😾☠️💀 How could Socks acted so so calm.

We finally made it to Amarillo and stayed at our first Airbnb. We met Grandma for a little bit then we went into hiding again.
This new place got us very restless and we didn’t eat too much food for a few days. Socks cried almost every day and I was so scared I didn’t want our Pawwrents to leave us in the house all by ourselves. We loved watching t.v. with them before bedtime. We were okay the last day in Amarillo but it was time to pack our stuff and head out on the road again.
Getting comfortable on our car seats while Dad drove us back to Abilene. The road was quite bumpy, and we were a little weary. However, we didn’t mind too much this time.
Mommy moved the litter box closer to her car seat this time, so she could get to the 💩 💩 fast if Socks decided to play drop the 💩 game again 😹
We slept most of the way back 😴
We were finally back in our home again 🏡
And enjoyed being ourselves. Life is normal for now.
